Circular, presented at the II Fespopi in June 1969, belongs to the context of Poema Processo. The composition combines letters, geometric forms and colors within a visual structure in which the word circular is subjected to displacement, fragmentation and spatial reorganization.

On the left appears a large horizontally elongated form outlined in red with rounded ends. Inside it are spaced letters that partially form the sequence CIRCO. This structure is crossed by a large yellow circle whose path carries additional letters in different positions and orientations.

On the right, the yellow circle intersects a green outlined square. Inside this square appear the letters LAR, while additional characters are distributed on or near the circular path. The arrangement establishes a relationship among the word, the circle, the square and the visual movement of reading.

The word Circular is not presented in a conventional linear manner. Its components are distributed among different geometric structures, requiring the viewer to reconstruct the reading through the relationship among letter, position, color and form. The term therefore functions simultaneously as a word and as a principle of visual organization.

A composição apresenta três estruturas geométricas principais. À esquerda existe uma forma horizontal de contorno vermelho e extremidades arredondadas. No centro encontra se um grande círculo amarelo. À direita aparece um quadrado de contorno verde.

No interior da estrutura vermelha são legíveis as letras C I R C O, distribuídas com amplo espaçamento. No quadrado verde aparecem as letras L A R. Outras letras negras estão distribuídas sobre o percurso do círculo amarelo, algumas inclinadas ou giradas em relação ao eixo convencional de leitura.

A distribuição gráfica sugere uma decomposição da palavra CIRCULAR entre diferentes campos e trajetórias. Como algumas letras aparecem rotacionadas e parcialmente relacionadas às linhas coloridas, a obra deve ser preservada documentalmente como composição verbo visual e não reduzida apenas à transcrição linear da palavra.

Na parte inferior da folha aparecem pequenas anotações manuscritas relacionadas à impressão e às cores. É possível ler PRETO e, à direita, um trecho iniciado por DE PREFERÊNCIA A IMPRESSÃO DO AMARELO, seguido de texto parcialmente cortado ou de leitura incompleta. O restante não deve ser expandido sem imagem adicional que permita leitura segura.

The composition presents three principal geometric structures. On the left is a horizontal form outlined in red with rounded ends. At the center is a large yellow circle. On the right appears a green outlined square.

Inside the red structure, the letters C I R C O are legible and widely spaced. Inside the green square appear the letters L A R. Additional black letters are distributed along the path of the yellow circle, some inclined or rotated in relation to the conventional reading axis.
