T/Riste, presented at the II Fespope in July 1969, belongs to the context of Poema Processo. The composition is constructed through linear drawings arranged vertically and the inscription T/RISTE in the lower area of the sheet.

The graphic field presents a main structure formed by a vertical line connecting a sequence of geometric and organic figures. In the upper left area appears a circular form crossed by lines and accompanied by short diagonal strokes. To the right is another circular sign surrounded by curved radial lines, producing a configuration resembling a nucleus surrounded by graphic expansions.

Along the central vertical axis, oval and polygonal forms appear in progressive transformation. Some contain internal elements resembling nuclei or concentric circles. In the lower section, the sequence culminates in a circular structure surrounded by successive angular outlines, creating a form of greater graphic density.

The inscription T/RISTE functions as both a verbal and visual element. The separation between T and RISTE through the slash disrupts the conventional reading of the Portuguese word triste, meaning sad, and transforms its orthographic structure into graphic material.
