Work Poem Glifo, by Celso Dias, was produced in June 1969 and is related to the II Fespopi exhibition, the Festival de Pirapora, in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The composition presents a group of graphic signs executed in blue ink and freely distributed across the paper in different directions. The elements combine curves, straight segments, open forms, character like structures and abstract signs, creating a visual vocabulary related to the idea of the glyph as a graphic and symbolic unit. The front presents numerous graphic signs in blue ink distributed across the sheet without a conventional line based textual arrangement. The handwritten inscription Glifo appears along the right margin and identifies the title of the work. In the lower area of the larger support, the notation II FESPOPI appears with WDP written below in parentheses, directly relating the work to II Fespopi and to Wlademir Dias Pino through the initials WDP. The reverse does not contain clearly legible inscriptions in the images provided. No pseudonym has been identified for Celso Dias.
