Obra de J. A. da Silva Lisboa apresentada na II Fespopi em junho de 1969. Work by J. A. da Silva Lisboa presented at the II Fespopi in June 1969. The composition is constructed from a narrow horizontal band of alphabetic signs printed in red that extends across almost the entire width of the sheet. The letters are repeated in regular series and organized into successive rows, forming a compact structure in which the characters cease to function solely as units of writing and become rhythm, texture, and visual configuration. The concentration of signs within a central band contrasts with the extensive empty areas of paper above and below, making the relationship between occupation and void a fundamental part of the composition. The systematic repetition of letters, serial organization, and transformation of verbal elements into graphic structure relate the work to the Poema Processo experiments presented at the II Fespopi in 1969, centered on the visual construction of language and the displacement of conventional verse reading.

A documentação registra frente e verso da folha. Na frente observa se uma faixa horizontal composta por várias linhas de pequenos caracteres vermelhos repetidos em sequência. Os grupos alfabéticos apresentam regularidade de tamanho, espaçamento e alinhamento, criando uma superfície gráfica contínua em contraste com o amplo espaço não impresso do suporte. Algumas sequências de letras são legíveis individualmente, mas a imagem disponível não permite estabelecer com segurança uma transcrição completa de todos os caracteres. No verso, a impressão frontal permanece visível de maneira tênue por transparência do papel. Na região inferior direita encontra se inscrição manuscrita em tonalidade magenta com o nome J. A. da Silva Lisboa e uma anotação numérica associada. A leitura exata dessa anotação numérica não é suficientemente segura para ser utilizada como data da obra. A folha apresenta marcas, manchas e sinais de envelhecimento do suporte.

The documentation records the front and reverse of the sheet. The front contains a horizontal band composed of several rows of small red characters repeated in sequence. The alphabetic groups show regularity in size, spacing, and alignment, creating a continuous graphic surface in contrast with the large unprinted areas of the support. Some letter sequences can be individually recognized, but the available image does not allow a reliable complete transcription of all characters. On the reverse, the front printing remains faintly visible through the paper. A handwritten inscription in magenta near the lower right contains the name J. A. da Silva Lisboa and an associated numerical notation. The exact reading of this numerical notation is not sufficiently secure to be used as the date of the work. The sheet shows marks, stains, and signs of aging.
