Work Poem aPrGestO, by Celso Dias, was produced in June 1969 and is related to the II Fespopi exhibition, the Festival de Pirapora, in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The composition combines printed language with manually drawn graphic signs, establishing a direct relationship between verbal language, gesture and visual construction. At the top of the sheet appears the expression aPrGestO in black typographic characters, alternating uppercase and lowercase letters. Below it, blue ink forms a sequence of abstract and calligraphic graphic elements, some curved and others angular and modular, arranged in spatial progression. The structure of the word aPrGestO itself brings together ideas of presentation, gesture and graphic action, while the drawn intervention shifts reading toward a visual and process based dimension. The work belongs to the experimental context of visual poetry presented at II Fespopi in 1969.

A obra apresenta na frente a inscrição impressa aPrGestO e uma composição de signos desenhados em tinta azul. Na margem lateral direita há uma anotação manuscrita de leitura parcial, na qual se distingue a expressão aPrGestO. No verso encontra se uma ficha datilografada com o nome Celso Dias e o endereço Rua Marquês de Abrantes 18, apartamento 608, Rio, além de anotações manuscritas em tinta vermelha. Entre essas anotações é possível identificar referência ao poema e ao título aPr Gesto, embora parte da escrita permaneça de difícil leitura. Não foi identificado pseudônimo para o artista. A data de junho de 1969 é atribuída ao item por sua participação na exposição II Fespopi. O papel apresenta sinais de envelhecimento, pequenas manchas, marcas de manuseio e perfurações de fixação. Denominação alternativa documentada no verso das obras que participaram da exposição II Fespopi.

The front of the work presents the printed inscription aPrGestO together with a composition of signs drawn in blue ink. A handwritten notation appears along the right margin, where the expression aPrGestO can be partially identified. The reverse contains a typed identification sheet with the name Celso Dias and the address Rua Marquês de Abrantes 18, apartment 608, Rio, together with handwritten annotations in red ink. Among these notes, a reference to the poem and to the title aPr Gesto can be identified, although part of the handwriting remains difficult to read. No pseudonym has been identified for the artist. The date June 1969 is assigned to the item based on its participation in the II Fespopi exhibition. The paper shows signs of aging, small stains, handling marks and attachment perforations.
