Go Go Poster é uma impressão gráfica de Hugo Pontes construída a partir da disposição tipográfica de palavras e fragmentos verbais em grande escala. A obra pertence ao campo da poesia visual e da poesia experimental brasileira e investiga as relações entre palavra, leitura, repetição, direção espacial, ritmo gráfico e construção visual da linguagem.
A composição ocupa predominantemente a região central da folha e utiliza letras maiúsculas pretas sobre fundo claro. Na parte superior aparece a sequência GO GO G, seguida pela letra O isolada imediatamente abaixo. A disposição espacial permite completar visualmente a repetição GO GO GO por meio da leitura horizontal e vertical. No centro encontra se a sequência VER VERVE, seguida pela letra R isolada. Na região inferior aparece NOW NOW, seguida pelas letras NO e W em linhas sucessivas, compondo por fragmentação e continuidade espacial novas possibilidades de leitura da palavra NOW.
Hugo Pontes transforma a organização tipográfica em mecanismo poético. As palavras não dependem exclusivamente de uma leitura linear da esquerda para a direita. Letras isoladas são posicionadas em diferentes linhas para completar, prolongar ou alterar as sequências anteriores. Dessa forma, a página passa a funcionar como espaço ativo de leitura e a tipografia assume simultaneamente funções linguísticas e visuais.
As expressões GO e NOW, provenientes do inglês, introduzem sentidos relacionados a movimento, ação, deslocamento, presente e urgência. O conjunto VER VERVE R cria uma estrutura mais ambígua, na qual fragmentação, repetição e recombinação dos caracteres são parte essencial da experiência visual. A palavra VERVE também pode remeter a energia, vigor e vitalidade expressiva, ampliando o caráter dinâmico da composição.
A obra utiliza repetição e desmembramento para produzir ritmo. O olhar percorre horizontalmente as grandes palavras e em seguida é conduzido verticalmente pelas letras isoladas. Esse procedimento rompe com a leitura convencional e aproxima o trabalho das pesquisas históricas da poesia concreta, poesia visual e experimentação tipográfica, nas quais posição, tamanho, intervalo e distribuição das palavras participam diretamente da construção do significado.
Na região inferior encontra se a identificação hugo PONTES. No canto inferior direito aparece a inscrição POEMS WITHOUT FRONTIERS MAIL ARTIST, relacionando o exemplar às redes de poesia experimental e arte postal. Go Go Poster constitui um documento da produção de Hugo Pontes dedicado à exploração da linguagem como matéria visual e à integração entre palavra, espaço, movimento, repetição, comunicação gráfica e poesia.

Go Go Poster is a graphic print by Hugo Pontes constructed through the large scale typographic arrangement of words and verbal fragments. The work belongs to the fields of Brazilian visual poetry and experimental poetry and investigates relationships between words, reading, repetition, spatial direction, graphic rhythm and the visual construction of language.
The composition occupies mainly the central area of the sheet and uses black capital letters against a light background. At the top appears the sequence GO GO G, followed immediately below by the isolated letter O. This spatial arrangement allows the viewer to visually complete the repetition GO GO GO through both horizontal and vertical reading. At the center appears the sequence VER VERVE, followed by the isolated letter R. In the lower section appears NOW NOW, followed by NO and W on successive lines, producing additional readings of NOW through fragmentation and spatial continuity.
Hugo Pontes transforms typographic organization into a poetic mechanism. The words do not depend exclusively on conventional reading from left to right. Isolated letters are positioned on different lines to complete, extend or modify previous sequences. The page therefore becomes an active field of reading, while typography simultaneously assumes linguistic and visual functions.
The expressions GO and NOW introduce meanings associated with movement, action, displacement, the present and urgency. The construction VER VERVE R produces a more ambiguous structure in which fragmentation, repetition and recombination of characters become essential to the visual experience. The word VERVE may also evoke energy, vigor and expressive vitality, reinforcing the dynamic character of the composition.
The work employs repetition and decomposition to create rhythm. The viewer first follows the large words horizontally and is then directed vertically through isolated letters. This procedure disrupts conventional reading and connects the work with historical investigations in concrete poetry, visual poetry and typographic experimentation, where position, scale, spacing and distribution of words participate directly in the construction of meaning.

The inscription POEMS WITHOUT FRONTIERS MAIL ARTIST is visible in the lower right corner, connecting the example with networks of experimental poetry and mail art.
