The structure allows the reader to rotate the piece and generate different combinations between the words ARTISTA and PAPEL, modified by the word or expression positioned at the center of the mechanism. Visible formulations include ARTISTA COM PAPEL, ARTISTA MAIS PAPEL, ARTISTA DE PAPEL, ARTISTA PELO PAPEL and ARTISTA SEM PAPEL. The verbal game also suggests the conceptual readings PAPEL DE ARTISTA and ARTISTA DE PAPEL, questioning the relationships between artist, support, material, function, identity and language. The work transforms reading into a physical and combinatorial operation, with each movement generating a new proposition. Its circular format, resembling a disc, introduces movement, permutation and direct participation by the viewer. The piece uses words distributed around the disc and a variable central area, allowing different sentences to emerge as the reader moves the mechanism. Documented combinations include ARTISTA COM PAPEL, ARTISTA MAIS PAPEL, ARTISTA SEM PAPEL, ARTISTA PELO PAPEL and ARTISTA DE PAPEL. The work also explores the semantic inversion between PAPEL DE ARTISTA and ARTISTA DE PAPEL, a formulation that can be understood simultaneously through the physical material of the book and through the social, symbolic and conceptual role performed by the artist. The rotational principle prevents a single definitive reading and opens the work to successive linguistic reorganizations.
