Abstract geometric composition structured through large red and orange planes, strong diagonals, triangular forms, parallel bands and a circular element formed by horizontal lines. The visual organization suggests movement, direction and expansion through the repetition of lines and the angular arrangement of modules. The light circular form positioned in the central left area acts as a counterpoint to the rectilinear structures and reinforces the tension between curved geometry and diagonal construction. Parallel black bands in the upper right and lower regions intensify the visual rhythm and create a dynamic reading of the surface. The work demonstrates Falves Silva's research into graphic synthesis, sign, rhythm, direction, modularity and visual communication, in dialogue with Brazilian visual poetry and the experimental universe of Poema Processo.
Obra de Falves Silva realizada em colagem e nanquim sobre papel, medindo 29 x 21 cm. A composição apresenta forte predominância de tons vermelhos e alaranjados delimitados por linhas negras. Um amplo módulo diagonal atravessa a superfície da parte superior esquerda em direção à região central direita, funcionando como eixo principal da composição. No interior desse campo aparece um círculo claro construído por faixas horizontais paralelas, produzindo contraste entre forma circular e estrutura angular. Na região superior direita, uma forma triangular alongada contém sucessivas faixas negras diagonais, enquanto o setor inferior apresenta outro conjunto de linhas paralelas inseridas em um módulo geométrico. O encontro entre diagonais, triângulos, círculos e campos cromáticos cria relações de tensão, continuidade e interrupção. A broad diagonal module crosses the surface from the upper left toward the central right region, functioning as the main structural axis of the composition. Within this field appears a light circular form constructed through parallel horizontal bands, creating a contrast between circular form and angular structure. In the upper right region, an elongated triangular form contains successive black diagonal bands, while the lower section presents another set of parallel lines integrated into a geometric module. The interaction between diagonals, triangles, circles and chromatic fields creates relationships of tension, continuity and interruption. The absence of words or recognizable figuration concentrates the reading on the visual organization itself, turning geometry into a system of information.
