Niels Peter Lomholt, professionally known as Niels Lomholt and also associated with the editorial and conceptual identity Lomholt Formular Press, was born on 17 February 1943 in Slagelse, Denmark. He is a Danish visual artist, editor, organizer, archivist and educator whose practice encompasses painting, photography, conceptual art, mail art, video and installation. His career occupies an important position in Danish experimental art and in the international Mail Art networks of the 1970s and 1980s.
