Ryosuke Cohen, Brain Cell Fractal, obra de arte postal e arte em rede realizada no contexto do projeto internacional Brain Cell, iniciado pelo artista japonês em 1985. A composição apresenta uma extensa sobreposição de carimbos de artista, selos postais, artistamps, desenhos, logotipos, inscrições, símbolos gráficos, pequenas imagens figurativas, marcas tipográficas e intervenções produzidas por diferentes participantes da rede internacional de Mail Art. Os elementos são reunidos por Cohen em uma superfície coletiva na qual imagens provenientes de diferentes artistas, países e contextos culturais passam a formar uma única estrutura visual.Brain Cell foi concebido por Ryosuke Cohen como uma representação da própria rede de arte postal. Para o artista, a ideia de fractal permitia pensar a criação como uma estrutura composta por fragmentos relacionados entre si, na qual cada participante contém e transforma partes provenientes de outros participantes.
