Since the 1960s he has played a fundamental role in establishing alternative systems for the production, distribution and circulation of experimental art, connecting artists from Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia.In 1966 he founded the independent publishing house VICE Versand in Remscheid, Germany, one of the most important European editorial platforms dedicated to experimental art, artists books, Fluxus, concrete poetry, visual poetry, multiples and avant garde publications.
