A inclusão de Om Mani Padme Hum introduz na composição uma referência ao conhecido mantra budista, associando a obra a ideias de repetição, meditação, memória, circulação cultural e transformação simbólica. Remember, 1995, is a work of collage, visual poetry and graphic experimentation by the Italian artist Franco Santini, produced within the context of his involvement with mail art and international networks of artistic communication. The composition is organized on a sheet of paper divided by discontinuous black lines into twelve rectangular modules, creating a structure resembling a grid, visual archive, board or system of signs. Each module brings together drawings, rubber stamps, printed images, paper fragments, found objects and manual interventions, establishing a visual sequence based on associations among memory, language, symbol and appropriation.

Several modules contain the same recurring black graphic form, resembling a circular structure opened at opposite sides, which is transformed through the insertion of different images and materials. Visible elements include a schematic red human figure, a green printed butterfly, a small natural feather, a blue image resembling a stamp or label containing two male portraits, a pink printed eye, a small red graphic fragment, an elephant accompanied by the handwritten inscription Om Mani Padme Hum, three areas of red, blue and yellow pigment, a small ticket or printed fragment, circular cutouts and a triangular red fragment of printed material.
