O texto biográfico informa que Ruth Wolf-Rehfeldt nasceu em Wurzen em 1932, estabeleceu-se em Berlim a partir de 1950 e desenvolveu atividade artística autodidata como pintora, gráfica e autora de poesia visual.\n\nSegundo a própria artista, os trabalhos apresentados derivam de investigações iniciadas por volta de 1971, inicialmente relacionadas à palavra e ao conceito, evoluindo posteriormente para construções visuais autônomas. A exposição constitui importante testemunho da produção experimental da Alemanha Oriental e situa Ruth Wolf-Rehfeldt entre os principais nomes internacionais da poesia visual, arte conceitual, arte datilografada e redes de Mail Art.\n\n5.
