Medeiros, mas não permite afirmar, até o momento, uma participação de Rosamilia no movimento Poema Processo propriamente dito.Na década de 1980 sua pesquisa fotográfica ganhou progressivamente maior definição autoral. A série Sulla soglia, desenvolvida entre 1984 e 1986, reúne 20 fotografias realizadas mediante impressão sobre papel artesanal de Amalfi e posterior coloração manual. O conjunto investiga portas, passagens e limiares como estruturas visuais e simbólicas. Foi apresentado em 1986 em exposição individual na Galleria San Fedele, em Milão, com curadoria de Roberta Valtorta.Também de importância para sua aproximação entre fotografia e publicação experimental foi sua participação em 1987 na exposição Scritture: pagine ed immagini, libro d artista, realizada no Palazzo Sormani, em Milão. Entre 1989 e 1995 desenvolveu Tracce, conjunto de 20 fotografias dedicado aos sinais deixados pelo tempo, pela ação humana e pelos processos naturais, utilizando impressão em papel de Amalfi e tratamento em sépia.A internacionalização de sua carreira intensificou se nas décadas seguintes. A cronologia documental registra exposição individual no Museo Ken Damy, em Brescia, em 1991, mostra individual na Panevezys Civic Art Gallery, na Lituânia, em 1992, participação na V Biennale di Fotografia de Córdoba, na Espanha, em 1995, exposição individual no Centre Culturel de Huy, na região de Liège, Bélgica, em 1995, participação em Obiettivi irrequieti, em Cava de Tirreni, em 1997, e em Still life, no Museo Ken Damy, em Brescia, em 1998.Em 1999 apresentou a individual Tracce em Torre Annunziata e realizou outra exposição individual no Museo Gracco Arte Contemporanea, em Pompeia. Attraverso lo sguardo di A. ?echov, de 2015 a 2016, estabelece um diálogo entre fotografia e literatura a partir da obra de Anton Tchekhov. Arie di storie, desenvolvida com a cantora lírica Elena Berera, relaciona fotografia, representação teatral e personagens femininas da ópera.Entre 2018 e 2019 produziu Il Maestro e Margherita, série de 21 imagens inspiradas no romance de Mikhail Bulgakov, utilizando fotografia analógica, fotomontagem e impressão sobre tela. A série foi apresentada em 2019 no Museu Teatro Bulgakov House, em Moscou, e na galeria Belka & Strelka, em Taganrog. A partir de 2021 desenvolveu ainda projetos relacionados à literatura e à vanguarda russa, entre eles Ommagio a Rodcenko, Gogol e, entre 2024 e 2026, Pushkin. BIOGRAPHY IN ENGLISHEnzo Rosamilia is an Italian photographer and artist born in 1955 in Auletta, in the province of Salerno, Campania, Italy. He studied painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Napoli and gradually shifted his research toward artistic photography during the late 1970s. From the beginning of the 1980s he also developed a teaching career in photography in Salerno, first associated with the local State Art Institute and later with the Liceo Artistico Sabatini Menna. His practice brings together analogue photography, material experimentation, manual intervention on photographic images, painting, artists books and the international circulation of contemporary photography.A central feature of Rosamilia's artistic research is his investigation of the material nature of photography. He developed a personal process for printing photographic images on handmade paper manufactured in Amalfi. The paper is treated with a specially prepared photographic emulsion and the resulting image may subsequently receive toning, hand coloring and other manual interventions. He works predominantly with analogue photography and natural light, bringing the photographic process into close contact with graphic, pictorial and artisanal practices.Among his earliest documented cycles is Il sole di Pompei, created between 1980 and 1983 and comprising 31 photographs printed on handmade Amalfi paper with sepia treatment. The series focuses on the archaeological landscape of Pompeii, transforming ruins, surfaces, traces of time and material remains into an investigation of memory and permanence. Medeiros, but they do not currently establish that Rosamilia was himself a member of the Brazilian Process Poem Movement.During the 1980s his photographic research became increasingly distinctive. Sulla soglia, produced between 1984 and 1986, consists of 20 photographs printed on handmade Amalfi paper and subsequently colored by hand. The series examines doors, passages and thresholds as both visual and symbolic structures. It was presented in 1986 in a solo exhibition at Galleria San Fedele in Milan, curated by Roberta Valtorta.His participation in Scritture: pagine ed immagini, libro d artista at Palazzo Sormani in Milan in 1987 is also relevant to his relationship with experimental publishing and the artists book. This exhibition documents Rosamilia's involvement in a field where photography, writing, the printed page and the image function as interconnected artistic languages.Between 1987 and 1988 he created Messe in scena, a group of 12 photographs printed on handmade Amalfi paper and colored by hand. Cracked walls and surfaces marked by time become active compositional elements. Between 1989 and 1995 he developed Tracce, a cycle of 20 photographs concerned with marks left by time, human activity and natural processes, using Amalfi paper and sepia toning.The international dimension of his career expanded during the following decades. Documentary chronologies record a solo exhibition at the Ken Damy Museum in Brescia in 1991, a solo exhibition at the Panevezys Civic Art Gallery in Lithuania in 1992, participation in the V Biennale of Photography in Córdoba in 1995, a solo exhibition at the Huy Cultural Centre in the Liège region of Belgium in 1995, participation in Obiettivi irrequieti in Cava de Tirreni in 1997 and participation in Still life at the Ken Damy Museum in Brescia in 1998.In 1999 he presented the solo exhibition Tracce in Torre Annunziata and another solo exhibition at the Museo Gracco Arte Contemporanea in Pompeii. In 2000 he held a solo exhibition within the Festival de la Luz in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2001 he participated in Album de familia in Córdoba and Fotonoviembre 2001 in Tenerife. In 2003 he participated in the Tenerife Biennale of Photography and presented a solo exhibition at Palazzo Pennasilico in the Salerno area.During subsequent decades Rosamilia expanded his techniques while maintaining his interest in constructed and manually processed photography. Seduzioni riflesse, developed from 2010 to 2018, explores double exposure and reflections on water. Oltre, created between 2013 and 2015, combines photography printed on canvas with hand coloring. Attraverso lo sguardo di A. ?echov, from 2015 to 2016, establishes a dialogue between photography and literature through the writings of Anton Chekhov. Arie di storie, developed in collaboration with opera singer Elena Berera, connects photography, theatrical representation and female characters from opera.Between 2018 and 2019 he produced Il Maestro e Margherita, a cycle of 21 images inspired by Mikhail Bulgakov's novel, using analogue photography, photomontage and printing on canvas. In 2019 the series was presented at the Bulgakov House museum theatre in Moscow and at the Belka & Strelka gallery in Taganrog. From 2021 onward he continued to develop projects connected with literature and the Russian avant garde, including Ommagio a Rodcenko, Gogol and, from 2024 to 2026, Pushkin.
