Artista Daniel SantiagoBiografia Nasceu em Garanhuns-PE em 1939. Aprendeu a desenhar com um tio, Saul Santiago, pintor de propaganda da cachaça Chica Boa, nas paredes da cidade de Catende, Pernambuco. De 1962 a 1966 Daniel Santiago viveu na Bahia onde aprendeu a fazer xilogravura. Em 1967 lecionou desenho na Escola Nacional de Desenho em Curitiba-PR. É professor de artes plásticas formado pela Escola de Belas Artes da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco em 1977. Jornalista formado pela Universidade Católica de Pernambuco em 1980. Fez Curso de Especialização de Desenho (1970), Curso de Pintura (1971 e 1972), Curso de Escultura (1973) e Curso de Teatro (1974) no Festival de Inverno da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Participou de várias comissões julgadoras em salões de arte. É artista plástico com catálogos de participação em mais de cem exposições no Brasil e no exterior.Fonte http://www2.recife.pe.gov.br/

Artist Daniel Santiago'sBiography He was born in Garanhuns-PE in 1939. He learned to draw with an uncle, Saul Santiago, a propaganda painter of the Chica Boa rum, on the walls of the city of Catende, Pernambuco. From 1962 to 1966 Daniel Santiago lived in Bahia where he learned to make woodcut. In 1967 he taught drawing at the National School of Drawing in Curitiba-PR. He is a professor of fine arts graduated from the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Pernambuco in 1977. Journalist graduated from the Catholic University of Pernambuco in 1980. He took Drawing Specialization Course (1970), Painting Course (1971 and 1972), etc, Sculpture Course (1973) and Theater Course (1974) at the Winter Festival of the Federal University of Minas Gerais. He participated in several judging committees in art salons.
